d by a flu bug floating around the locker room.  The Flyers again took the ice without captain Mike Richards and Scottie Upshall.

After falling behind 3-1 in the first period, the Flyers got goals from Glen Metropolit and Scott Hartnell to knot the game going into the third.  Hartnell was his usual, agitating self on Saturday, drawing much attention from Boston players.  That was not enough to keep him from knocking home a loose puck to bring the game to a tie six minutes into the second.

ed to take on the Bruins in the second game of a home-and-home series tomorrow afternoon.

Captain Mike Richards and Scottie Upshall are still feeling the effects of a flu that has run wild through the Flyers' locker room.  Both players are said to be feeling better, but team officials decided they will not travel with the team in an effort to isolate the illness from the rest of the team.  Several players have fallen ill recently, no doubt contributing to the team's 1-3 skid since the all-star break.

ributors would miss the game with flu-like symptoms.  One of those missing was gritty captain, Mike Richards.  The Flyers did themselves no favors either, with sloppy passing, clumsy skating and untimely penalties.
